Orpheus was the first of three Monteverdi operas that Robert Wilson directed. The entire trilogy (Orpheus, The Return of Ulisses to his Homeland and The Coronation of Poppea) was coproduced by La Scala in Milan and the Paris Opera. This production was documented at La Scala and released on DVD by opus arte, which can be obtained here.
